Students learn languages more easily at an early age. Immersing and instructing students in a second language provides an effective vehicle for students to learn to speak, read and write in both languages by age of 10-12.

普通话标准课程 Standard Chinese Language Mandarin Courses for K to G12
Regular Track for Age 5 and above
It is our policy of the Chinese Language programs that assigning student to in appropriate courses to their existing level of ability. Students can learn and develop their language proficiency to a higher level with the same pace. To meet the special needs of students of diverse backgrounds, we currently offer regular K, G1 to G12 on all levels of language and literature courses. The Ramp-up option by ages or proficiency level for on demand customized courses (typically 1-6 students, range from 3-9 months).
One of the cornerstones of being fluent in Chinese is to know a lot of Chinese vocabulary. The selected textbook and supplemental material support the following matrix (briefly).

非母语普通话课程 Featured Chinese as the Second Language Courses
Non-native Mandarin speakers Track for Age 12 to adult
We offer a dual-track Chinese program, with separate courses for heritage speakers of Mandarin and non-native Mandarin speakers (includes Cantonese and English). The special courses for Cantonese speakers or non-native Mandarin speakers who have a different level of Chinese literacy.
Non-native Mandarin speakers of Age Group at least 12 or above (middle school student or adult). The track is designed for students of non-Chinese origin, or students of Chinese origin who do not speak any Mandarin.
The course material are the same or compatible with most school districts in the lower Mainland and universities in Canada and US. We choose our text books and supplemental materials very carefully for our students who can fully leverage the diversity of the educational resources and specific focus with goal and purpose.
The Chinese as the Second Language Program offers a basic language sequence that covers beginning (first year) to advanced (fourth year) Chinese Mandarin, including Level 100, 200, 300 and 400. Check it out Go Chinese! 听说读写360天
